Set amongst the hills surrounding Cortona lies this splendid, charming estate, featuring 7 hectares of land, with 3.5 Ha planted with olive groves and a swimming pool. This enchanting farmhouse has always belonged to artists who wished to preserve its natural character. A film director from Los Angeles, who loved this property, chose to have frescoes depicting works by Giotto painted on the walls, so that it would blend harmoniously into the landscape.

The main building

The main building is spread over three storeys.

On the ground floor there is a spacious kitchen with a fireplace. Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom with natural stone walls and exposed beams painted white. A door leads out to the courtyard.

On the first floor, there is a living room with frescoed walls and a large fireplace, overlooking the staircase leading to the outer courtyard. Also on this floor are a double bedroom and a bathroom.

The two outbuildings

Outside, there are two perfectly restored outbuildings.

The first, on two levels, is situated next to the splendid travertine marble swimming pool. It is spread over two floors: on the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and the living area; on the first floor, a bedroom.

The second outbuilding, also in excellent condition, features a living area with a lounge and kitchenette on the ground floor, a bathroom and, on the first floor, a bedroom.

The complex blends perfectly and harmoniously into the natural surroundings and the surrounding landscape.
